This add-on will most likely stop working in the second half of 2022 when the anki component that this add-on changes will be completely rewritten so that this add-on would need a full rewrite, too. If you sync the Notes app with your iPhone or iPad, you’ll see them in the same spot on those devices as well. Select Quick notes on the left, and you’ll see your notes on the right.

How to view your Quick NotesĪll Quick Notes you create are available in the Notes app. You’ll then see a new Quick Note each time. If you change your mind later, head back to this same spot and uncheck the box.

When the Quick Note appears using either of the above actions, you can move it wherever you like on your screen. To check or change the location, go to System preferences > Desktop and screen saver > Hot corners.
#Quick note upgrade#
If you don’t have a shortcut set up for your lower-right Hot Corner, one will be added for Quick Note when you upgrade to MacOS Monterey. Option 2: Move your cursor to a Hot Corner. This opens a blank note ready for your thoughts or ideas. Option 1: Use the keyboard shortcut Fn + Q. You have a couple of easy ways to create a new Quick Note while performing any task on your Mac.
